Why aren't you doing Sudoku?

Heck, it can take over your life. I have a friend who struggled off and on with a Sudoku puzzle for weeks before finally trashing it.

Sudoku (I always want to spell it Soduku, for reasons I can't explain) appears very simple at first glance, with the numbers 1 to 9 scattered about nine vertical and nine horizontal columns.

Interestingly, any nine symbols will work, because it's not really a numbers game, it's a logic game. If you hit shift on your computer, 123456789 become !@#$ %^&*() While those symbols are just as applicable, numbers make solving the puzzle easier."

Hope the poor person didn't confuse the ( with !....
